Hello diy experts,

I had a new bathroom done a year ago, with a bathtub/shower close to the window and tiles all around the window. Since the beginning the grout in the edge on the window keeps cracking. The plumber came back several times and filled the grout but it keeps cracking again after a few weeks.
Now the crack is really big and I noticed that behind the tiles in the area next and under the crack it sounds hollow. So I am assuming the tiles have come off the wall. And my guess is this would need redoing in that area.

What is your view and advice how to handle this please? Can I ask the plumber to redo it?

Thank you for any thoughts.

You could hide damage and tidy reveal with 15mm angle (aluminium ) and spray to match tile colour .
