using a stop cock on pipework to gravity fed/pumped elec shower

Hi
So have the above some feet away from the water tanks.
22mm for hot pipe to within about 3 feet of shower head then 15mm
If I put a stop cock in the 15mm section will it affect flow, difficult to put in the 22mm section

Speedfit plastic type ISO's aren't full bore if this is the type you mean and the water is fed from a cistern

Ideally you want full bore lever/ISO valves and cant say I've ever seen full bore pushfits
