Hi

Some of the shower tiles are coming adrift slightly and the grout is cracked. it is a new build house and nearly 6 years old. We also have water marks on the kitchen ceiling which I assume is from this. Any tips on fixing this? Should I remove all and check? Is there likely damage behind the tiles? Or just keep in place and regrout / reseal?
Thanks in advance

If the tiles are loose then remove them, clean them off and fix any substrate behind them and then refix the tiles to a sound surface. For the grout, rake out any loose grout and regrout any tile that needs it. You may still be within the 10 year NHBC Warranty period so worth looking at your sale details or documents.

Feel sorry for people buying new builds these days, doubt they used correct background for tiles, likely it will all need replacing.
