Liz Trusses predictions are coming true

There are thousands of worldwide 'arrangements', 'protocols' and 'reciprocal agreements', these aren't trade deals. The EU and the UK didn't say 'Oo look we've just signed 10 trade deals with Japan, both countries announced 1 trade deal.

OK, you and you're assistant are keen on pointing out that Australia doesn't have a trade deal with the EU, and this is true, but amongst those 759 agreements that the EU have signed worldwide, dozens of those are with Australia.

So by your logic. the EU has multiple trade deals with australia.

agreement =word with 9 letters
deal =word with 4 letters

Maybe a brexiteer (any one will do) can answer these very simple questions...

What free trade trade deal could be better than the current free trade deals we have?

And if so do brexiteers think negative tariffs for UK goods and services could be 'negotiated'?

Also given that the buying power of the pound has fallen substantially, how do brexiteers think that purchases from overseas will get cheaper as claimed?

Got to agree: what can be better than a frictionless trade deal with zero tariff?

borisconi it appears is going back to 'gunboat diplomacy'...

The problem is it inevitably gets sunk!

It will be interesting to see if any brexit voting person can come up with any single advantage over a free trade deal (let alone justify the freedoms they have lost), but it will as usual be a case of the proverbial snowballs in hell chance!

Apparently it's worth giving up for "sovereignty"....even though loss of frictionless trade and loss of freedom of movement actually is a loss of personal freedom and thus loss of sovereignty.

I'm quite fond of Liz Truss's projections.

Just reading this morning that 57 trade deals with 57 different countries worth almost 200 billion have been signed since leaving the EU.
I'd say that comfortably exceeds Notch's projections.

Did the site you were reading tell you the value of the deals we have thrown away?
