Apologies if this has been covered before, but despite a search of the forums I can't find the exact answer that I need.

I'm moving out of a rented property and am obligated to return it in the same state it was originally rented. This means that I need to remove my Hive "stuff" and refit the Honeywell T40 "stuff".

Re-fitting the heating/water controls has been straight-forward, but the thermostat is confusing me.

If someone could give me idiot proof guidance on which terminal each of the wires needs to go, I'd be extremely grateful.

You really need to check voltage at each core due to the earth/neutral being used as switched lives in the case of MOMO valves being used (motor on motor off)..
Usually the red core would terminate at term 1.
Yellow core @ term 3.
Blue core/neutral @ term 2.
