Toilet has the following issues

- Cistern is slow to fill. However this speeds up when you open up either basin or bath tap.

- Water is constantly trickling into toilet bowl

I inherited the toilet, so do not know whether it has always been like this

Pics added of toilet cistern internals

Please advise on what needs doing/changing etc

When cistern is filled ,does water reach the overflow tube and run down it into the pan ? If it doesn't ,then water is leaking past the flush valve seal and needs replacing.
The float valve needs replacing too probably.

Are you referring to the white seal marked up in the pic?

If so, can you just replace the seal and keep the entire flush unit or is it advisable to replace the entire thing?

I don't want to come back to this job just for the sake of saving a few pennies

Is it okay to use CT1 as your silicone sealer?

Whilst the toilet is disassembled, should I replace anything like the doughnut?

Fit a new fill valve, new flush valve, through bolts and dounut washer:

You will also need a new dounut washer.

I wouldn't use CT1 , It will never come apart again.
