Fitting Perfect-Fit Blinds

We got some perfect-fit blinds online as were advised they'd fit both style of tilt & turn windows we have. For one of the windows the bracket fits in perfectly, however, for the window in the picture force or dishwashing liquid, they do not.

Does anyone know if using a stanley knife to try to jam the bracket in, would work? Or if it would it damage the bead?

Are there any other tricks to installing perfect-fit blinds with or without brackets?

You may need to get I very thin blade/knife and lift that rubber up to help get the bracket in underneath it even just a corner and then slide the rest in, just by trying to push the bracket against the rubber means you are forcing the rubber harder onto the glass and it'll probably never slide in
