Hi
New bathroom fitted last year, however the top of the vanity (near the basin) has got wet and swelled up. I was thinking gluing down and maybe some sort of waterproof coating over the top. The reason why this has happened is the builders put a very small basin in (did not discuss this with us at the time), so when you wash you face over the basin the water goes everywhere. I know it's really bad and we have called them back several times for other issues with the the bathroom since.

Thanks in advance

Looks to be due to poor workmanship , probably wrong glue use ( should be a contact adhesive) .No easy fix , replacement best option .

You could try a hot iron first, but it's hard to say what it has been fixed with.
