20mm PEX to 22mm compression

Hi all,

I want to change stop cock from old gate valve to a lever valve... Any advise as to how to make connection?

If the old one isn't leaking then leave it in place and fit your preferred valve above it and leave the original fully open

If you want to get rid of the brass then probably need to use philmac/plasson copper transition coupler to take it from 20mm to 22mm then fit the valve

It’s MDPE pipe and not PEX, various types of adapters are available, most plumbing merchants will be able to help.

Yes, 20mm MDPE to 15mm copper and 25mm MDPE to 22mm copper are both available in brass compression fittings

Not a full bore no - there are MDPE to copper wind down stop taps IIRC
