Hi all,
I'm building a single skin garage wall and am wondering whether I need to put the wall starter kit below the dpc? I understand I might not put a fixing below dpc. I have quite a high dpc. 5 or 6 courses up from ground level. Also anything special I need to do when joining the new dpc into the old. Is this called vertical dpc?
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

No. Not unless your foundation masonry is really deep and exposed (way above soil level).

Thanks. The dpc is 6 course above ground level, is that uncommon?
