Can anyone advise? I'm having a garden room built and the designer recommended Sandtoft 20 20 clay tiles as solution to tiling a 21 degree pitched roof. Have come home today and the headlap on the first rows laid looks shallow. Have looked on their site and they have specifications for 75mm headlap or 100mm headlap, but their claims on being tested successfully under wet conditions in a wind tunnel etc down to 15 degrees specify 100 mm headlap. Should I insist on 100 mm headlap? The roof faces east onto flat farmland.
