I have reluctanlty pulled down a single block (with a couple of piers)boundary wall in my garden. The wall was failing to retain the neighbours garden which is higher than mine by some 5 foot and is about 30 foot long.
I intend to rebuild the wall with a 9" concrete block wall and a face it blocks or bricks laid conventionally and tied to the 9" course.
Is this man enough for the job or should it be even wider? How deep should the footings be? Reinforcing required?
Wish I'd never started!
