Hi all, I have a problem with the wiring center! it all works to a large extent but! when the Hive switches on the HW it overrides the tank stat which is not calling for heat and 240v appears on the brown wire on the 2 port valve. I have cut all the requested links for an S plan system.
Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the reply, if I do a continuity check it shows the contacts are open, it appears the 240v to the 2 port is fed from elsewhere not through the thermostat as per S plan, just a tad confused as I can't trace the cause if it weren't PCB unseen it would be easier :(

It won't be the wiring centre at fault. It is just a junction box with no working parts.

I suppose you might have made an incorrect connection. Have you got a multimeter?

Thanks John I get that whichever way I look at it the HW 2 port is not being fed through the Tank Stat if I connect the brown wire from the valve to the tank stat switch side it works as it should?

Sounds to me that the Hive HW output (Terminal 3) has been connected directly to the HW motorised valve and not wired via the cylinder thermostat.

Whilst Hive doesn't have a separate wired room thermostat for the CH so CH is wired directly to the CH motorised valve L. HW still requires the wired cylinder thermostat to be connected in series with terminal 3 and the HW motorised valve L.
