Hi,

I am looking for advice on replacing my old 'ENTRYPHONE LONDON' (which has quite a few wires) with a BELL 801.

Any help or advice on the wiring would be appreciated,

They are very similar systems.

4 wires in parallel to every handset: common, talk, listen, door release

1 wire from the call button on the panel to the buzzer on the corresponding handset.

Common and talk should be wired as a twisted pair.

Entryphone diagrams are here

You will need Plan 1.

Corresponding connections between Entryphone and Bell is shown here

If you only want to change the handset then I would suggest a replacement Entryphone handset.

Thank you for the reply greatly appreciated, will probably take your suggestion and purchase a new Entryphone,
cheers!
