Hi,
After abit of advice in terms of the correct way to go about building a long lasting shed base to accomodate 14x12 shed. I may do this myself with a builder friend at hand or will get someone else in but still like to get my head around how it ideally 'should' be done.
I want to be able to get my bike in the shed/workshop, and our garden starts off on a higher flat level then then drops straight down for the rest of it.
Basically what I would like is the shed to be in the lower part but on a raised base so that the doors will clear the raised side so I can get my bike in.
The drop is about 1.5ft, so need to raise it by that much, how would one go about it?
In my non builder head, It would be dig abit down, build perimeter wall to level needed with foundation how deep?
kill weeds, membrane, hardcore, and about 4" concrete screed or something
Is that about right?
