Was watching a programme about health recently, forget which one. They were saying that porridge mops up cholesterol as it's digested.
Didn't realise it was such a wonder food. Then got me thinking if that's true, why are the Jocks lucky to see their 50th? :giggle:;)
Thanks to all for your advice, really appreciated.
Says a lot that the same garage changed the outer CV boot on other side two years ago to a softer rubber one when they had gearbox out - they spotted it was split when stripping down. It's been fine, no problems. That's why I went back to them...
Luckily I'm not using the van for a few days so can wait to Mon for rectification by garage. But my well of patience is indeed running dry, and flinging a gallon of unleaded over it and setting light is looking tempting. :giggle:
OK, so cv boot number 5 fitted just over a week ago by the garage has pulled out of it's big clip (we've been here before) and spilled it's load of grease. Again!!!
Did suggest when it went in that they fitted a softer rubber one like the one they put on other side 2 years ago which is fine...
Far too many of them. In gratitude we let their descendants stay to enjoy a much better life than they would have had in Africa. Not sure they're very grateful though.
Not so negative. Did a lot for the city and built alms houses for the poor. Otherwise he wouldn't have had schools, roads and concert halls named after him. Plus a statue of him right in the centre.
