Morning, Following a repair to an illuminated bathroom cabinet I have a spare sensor from one of these - would I be able to use this as a switch on a 12v /10w light in my shed, and if so how do I know which of the 3 wires does what? (I presume they are live, neutral and switched live) thanks

I had a closer look last night, the meter tails have PVC insulation and are blue & red, whereas the CU tails have braided outer insulation and are red & black. To a non-expert replacing them doesn't look excessive
