I belive they have at the front but used foam to stick most of it to the bricks if that makes sense .

I'll see what I got. The one I used first sort of shos where he shaved the lintel but has sort of hid most with cement. ‍♂️

Hi, had log burner put in by a firm but I saw them put a concrete lintel in which they had shaved just of center to make it fit under one stone that was lower than rest, has this now weakened the lintel. Thank you

Hi, we have had a knock out done for a new log burner, our internal chimney was a facing stone cladding ( large heave stones) which were tied in to the bricked cavity. The firm fitting this put a steel support to the brick work but not the stone work suggesting the ties would support the large...
