No. Forget about those. Choices are gas or a heatpump.

How to calculate the resistance of a wash pump

Any readings of DC resistance on an AC motor are irrelevant. If it's not working, then a failed capacitor is far more likely than any problem with the windings.

    Smart switch wiring help. (2Gang/2Way)

That may work, although good luck when it causes problems with LED lighting. In terms of 2 way switching, that is done by having more than one of them, and configuring the switching options via whatever app it has.

    Adding to light circuit

Not necessarily. Depends on what consumer unit you have got, and if parts exist for it.

Taylor Wimpey new build sockets/plugs query

They will be 25mm 16mm are only suitable for light switches. No socket outlet will fit that. 25mm is the cheapo default option used by the sling it and wing it brigade. 35mm is what you would expect from a quality new installation so that USB sockets and flat plate accessories can be installed.

    electric for shower

Then that is the only option. The instructions for the electric shower will require that an RCD is installed. Electric showers require their own circuit. New circuits require RCDs New circuits and installing showers are notifiable work.

Time for tariff rate change, is it always UTC?

Contact your energy supplier and ask. If BG don't know, then move to another supplier that does. Octopus use either GMT or BST, so for the 4 hours overnight for EV charging it's always 00:30 to 04:30. 4 hours most of the year, but 3 hours on the last Sunday in March and 5 hours on the last...

Lack of supplementary bonding - what’s the danger ?

MCBs used for circuits with 0.4s disconnection time. An RCCB will disconnect in 0.04s, 10x faster. Some circuits can have up to 5s disconnection time.

Lack of supplementary bonding - what’s the danger ?

Modern pipes are usually plastic, but plenty of old ones were metal (such as lead or copper) into a cast iron stack. Any line-earth fault will cause a voltage on the main earth terminal and all conductive parts connected to it. The voltage only exists until the fault is cleared by a fuse or...

Lack of supplementary bonding - what’s the danger ?

Metal waste pipe to the bath, which is at earth potential. Not bonded but the mixer shower above the bath is. Some fault occurs elsewhere in the installation which causes a voltage of 150 volts to appear on the bonded metalwork of the shower. The person standing in the bath with their foot on...
