Our project: changing a pebble garden

Hello, Sorry for the late reply, it has been hectic. Our garden is south facing, so we get a lot of sunlight all day, but we have now decided to change the shed in a year or two. That said, we are putting this project on hold until the new shed is here (figured it makes no sense to create a...

Our project: changing a pebble garden

Hello! Coming spring, we want to change our pebble garden and add more green. Ive attached a picture of the garden and tried to show what we wish to do. Basically, we want to keep the pebbles under the Gazebo (and maybe in front of the shed door) and make a little pathway to the house. But the...

Replacing old Robus Thermostat with Honeywell T6360

Update: Removed the cover to see what was going on with the valve opener. It seemed to be stuck. I turned the lever to manual and then back to automatic and it seems to work for now, but if it happens again I might change the thing after all. Thanks for all your help here. This forum is awesome. Replacing old Robus Thermostat with Honeywell T6360

Yes, it had an indicator light. Thank you, that’s done now! Another thing bugs me though: if I turn the boiler on (but leave the thermostat off), the boiler still fires up and the heating goes on upstairs. I checked the motorized valve downstairs and that opens only if I turn on the thermostat...

Replacing old Robus Thermostat with Honeywell T6360

Hello, sorry my picture wasn’t too good…I definitely have also a black wire coming from the wall. You can see it better here: the brown one was in terminal 2 and the black one in terminal 3 (together with the other black one that connects to 5)

Replacing old Robus Thermostat with Honeywell T6360

Hello, it’s me again. I need to replace our upstairs thermostat because the dial is broken. We had the Robus RRF10 (https://xpresselectrical.ie/product/robus-heating-cooling-thermostat-10a/ ). Our local screwfix didn’t have that brand, so I went for the Honeywell T6360 instead and am now...

Valve Actuator faulty: what to do?

Thanks @oldbuffer, that's very helpful! I'll definitely check everything with the multi-meter. Leaving the old wiring stubs to not get confused with the colours, is great advice. (y) Parts arrived today, so I hope to get it done over the weekend.

Valve Actuator faulty: what to do?

Thank you for your quick reply. I took the actuator off and the teeth are definitely worn (see: https://postimg.cc/R3nGYyDv ). So I assume it might be best to can change it with the same model? Like this one: https://www.gasparts.ie/product/siemens-dva25

Valve Actuator faulty: what to do?

Hey guys, I hope you can help me with this. We recently became home owners and are now experiencing the joy of having to fix everything ourselves. :D Most things that came up so far, were pretty easy to handle, but a few days ago the Valve Actuator at our Gas boiler started acting up. It made a...
